Descriptions
So how many of you read books/novels on regular basis?? Very few right!!!
I know it's hard to slot your
time for reading books, as one of tiny culprit in your pocket which
hinders to do is smartphones/tablets. Some people will have the habit
of reading blogs/eBooks/some online clickbait
titles and fascinating long form articles. It's well and good, but it is
the different forms of electronic screens which we glued to for the
whole day in office, breaks etc..It has devastating effect on your eyes,
without it we can't divine this beautiful world...
Titbits.

Given that almost half of
India's population is under the age of 25, it's no wonder that a large
part of the book trade is dominated by academic and children's books
which account for 40% and 30% of the market
respectively.
Barring some run away
successes, print-runs for non-academic books rarely exceed 2,000 copies
in the first instance and a bestseller is often a book that has sold
only as many as 10,000 copies.
The Maximum Retail Price Act stipulates that a maximum price must be printed on every book.
No VAT is charged on books and there are no customs fees for importing books.
So we read by compulsion not by desire...
Delightfully Short Guide to Reading More Books:
Reading triggers: Tie your
new reading habit to different triggers throughout your day. Best would
be reading few pages before going to bed.
Enjoy the reading: Don't look
at reading books like a chore that you have to rush through. If you do,
you'll stop reading. Instead, look at the reading sessions as a treat
Always bring your book:
Wherever you go, bring your book. Like when you travelling, it is better
to accompany a good book then a nonstop chatterbox.
Use a closet: close your
devices when you read. Their notifications and such will just distract
you. If you have to, put your phone and laptop in a different room, in a
closet.
So enjoy your books, my friends .let yourself feel the transformations it imbibes you.
Those who have come across amazing book/novels recently and if you have a reading list. Please do share.
